    IQFeed (trial) problem

    Hello all,

After quite a while I have returned to trading. While I am waiting for my funds to arrive and my regular datafeed to be setup I re-sisgned with IQFeed to do some testing. Now that I have the IQFeed trial (with CME minis) I have a big problem with NT8.
Whenever I try to load a chart I get a ton of always the same error messages in my log, the loading never stops and my computer memory runs completely full and brings NT8 to a complete stop, only killing NT via taskmanager helps.

I already reset my instruments lists, first repaired, then rebuild/cleaned my NT database, but nothing helped. I tried the latest IQFeed connector (stable version) as well as the newer beta connector. Also I tried the latest NT8 and also one older version. Nothing did the trick.

Also I should add:that SuperDOM just works fine, so data is coming in.

In my trace.log I see this:

And this last error message is what keeps coming, my trace logs and also regular logs keep filling (several GBs, it won't stop) until I kill the NT trask via taskmanager. Besides this last error entry I can't see any other entries which would give me a hint.

Does anybody experienced this as well? Does anybody here have any idea?

Thanks a lot and best regards,
    Oliver

    Hi ostadler2,
Interesting. I myself don't have any issue with DTN IQFeed whatsoever.
However, it appears as if other users had similar issues. To my understanding, a hot fix was offered for v.19.
I updated to the newest version of ninja and also upgraded to the newest IQfeed client. I'm having problems loading second charts (5 sec. bars) for forex

      Hello Oliver,

I'm not sure of the version number of the latest IQFeed client. Is this version 6.1.0.20? If not, please download version 6.1.0.20 from the IQFeed connection guide below and check if the errors persist.

A known cause for these errors is any other program's usage of port 9100. Do you know of any other program running on your computer that uses port 9100? A known example of this is Logitech G hub.
