    NinjaTrader launch command line options?

Hi. Are there any available command line options on NinjaTrader.exe launch?
(or, maybe a startup initialization or properties file?)
    Thanks !

    Hello Hyper,

Sorry I'm not sure what is referred with "command line options". Could you please clarify? Is this related to programming in NinjaScript?

Perhaps at this time in the 21st century, the topic falls into the category of "old school"?
You know, launching a program from the "command line" ? Many Windows users
have no idea what that means !!

      <install dir>\NinjaTrader.exe /template=compact /theme=dark /success=maximum

So... I'm guess, there is no such thing?

The only thing that would remain would be possible "initialization" type files which
could influence the launch; but I'll anticipate there isn't anything.

So, thanks for looking into it.

I see, thank you for clarifying. Unfortunately this is not supported.

Hi. Can you please tell me how, or implement in a future version of NT8, the
ability to launch from the command linee, but specifying the startup workspace
from among a number of predefined workspaces?

Maybe there is a way to achieve this, creatively?

Maybe I'll have to launch a program that edits the default opening
workspace in the NinjaTrader.sdf database; and then launch. Whatever
achieves the desired effect is fine with me, as a workaround.

          Thanks !!

            Hello,

An alternative is you can launch the platform with no workspace automatically loaded. You can do this by navigating to Documents/NinjaTrader 8/workspaces and deleting the workspaces.xml file. Then when you launch NT, it should load with a blank workspace.

Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. However, I do see a workspaces folder, in
which there is an "_workspaces.xml" which is probably what you meant.
