OFvolumeprofile plotting

Hello,

the plotting of initialbalanc is enabled (color magenta) and the IB High plots at 3577.50 in the ES but the high of the bar is 78.50 (where I drew the blue horizontal line).
Dataseries chart is instruments settings and parameters OF volume profile is CME US Index Futures RTH.

Please see the 2 screenshots from chart and indicator paramters.

Thanks for posting.

The initial range is based on the number of minutes into the session you have specified in the indicator properties. For example, on a 30 minute chart if the property 'Initial balance time (in minutes)' was set to 30 and 'Profile period' was set to Sessions, I would expect the high and low of the initial balance range to correspond with the high and low of the first bar of the session. yes this is right. I didnt mention that I have set to composite with 1 day back, because only with composite one can plot the profile on the right margin, and not overlapping with last bar.
But in this case the IB is not plotting the first 2 bars. Its plotting the first 3 bars. Where could one set with composite ot have the IB for 2 x 30 time-periods?

This may be done by switching the profile period to 'Sessions', editing the initial balance time, then switching the profile period back to 'Composite'. The initial balance time you set for the session will be retained.

this is what I had done. And I did it again now after your reply. You see screenshots with order 1_session_par, 2_session_chart, 3_comp_par, 4_comp_chart.

You can see in the session chart that IB is correct with 2 bars (2x30min = 60 min) but in the composite chart you can see that IB low switches to next bar (3x30min=90 min)
