Correct Alert Setting?... help please?

Advice please.... can anyone advise on the correct "Rearm type" setting, if I want the Alert to activate when, for example, the Stochastic white line closes below the 20 line as indicated by the yellow dots, ie alert activation on the close of the corresponding red candle... I have it set on " On bar close" but that doesnt work. Thanks

To clarify, the 'rearm type' isn't controlling when the alert conditions will be active initially, it's going to control what occurs after the first time your alert conditions become true. So in your example, if you have a condition that checks if the stochastic crosses below 20 line, that should trigger when that condition is met. Now, when do you want your alert to check for that condition again? This is the purpose of the 'rearm type'.

If your alert is not triggering at least once when you believe the conditions you've defined have become true, then there needs to be some further analysis into your conditions themselves.

Sets under what condition the alert will rearm. Possible options are listed in the table below:

Never	The alert will only trigger once and never rearm
On timer	Rearm after a specific number of seconds defined in the rearm seconds property
On bar close	Rearm on the next bar close for the data series used in the alert condition. Only columns which have a data series are eligible for OnBarClose alerts.
On condition reversed	Rearm once the condition is no longer true
On connect*	Rearm after NinjaTrader has been manually connected to a data provider
Remove	Once triggered the alert will never rearm and be removed.
