    Major bug in 8.0.23.2 - volume profile and lines are not saved when I switch symbol

    Volume profile and lines are not saved when I switch symbol on a chart.
    There was no problem in 23.1. I just installed 23.2

    Thank you for your note.

    This is currently a known bug with drawing objects when changing instruments within a chart, where the drawing object becomes invisible. Our development team is aware of this behavior, and the internal tracking number for this item is 14751.

      yes, I need to get a previous version: 23.1, but it is not available on the website. I use TDA as a broker.

        Thank you for your reply.

        We never recommend downgrading, as each release includes multiple platform enhancements. As an example, you can read about all of the changes made to the latest release, 8.0.23.2 below:That being said, if you wanted to downgrade we provide that option for the most recent version of NinjaTrader.

        I have included instructions on how to reinstall the NinjaTrader platform below using the prior release below.

        With this procedure, you will not lose any Workspaces, Charts, custom items etc. You'll need a license key for this procedure, which I've included below. These steps won't affect your current license key (if different):
        • @SIM-A82F-D583-40B1-AE74-B79F-705D-1952

        Please follow these steps:
        • Close all running applications.
        • Make sure NinjaTrader is closed
        • From the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs or Programs and Features
        • From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 8 and click Remove.
        • Once these steps are completed, download and install NinjaTrader from the link below:
        • https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
        • Enter your License Key and click Submit
        • Under 'Prior Releases' select 8.0.22.2

          Eleanore, "We never recommend downgrading", but I want 23.1 not 22 for that exact reason. But I cannot use 23.2 due to the bug that is not resolved. Can someone make 23.1 available for download?

            Thank you for your reply and sorry for my confusion.

            We are unable to provide you with this version. The only prior version of NinjaTrader 8 available to downgrade to is 8.0.22.2.

                        Hi dpolyakov,

                        I recommend that every time you download and install any version of NT8, you keep the downloaded kit in a folder where you may use it to reinstall that specific kit at a later date, should you ever find a compelling need to do so. Of course, deleting old/obsolete kits after a given period of time (e.g. 12 months) is also good practice.
