Drawings set to All Charts on default not working

Hi,

I've been using drawings to make sure that they're set to all my charts by saving the template to default. It was working a while ago, but for the past few weeks they'll only show it on the chart that it's being drawn on, instead of all the other charts. I keep saving the template to default but still doesn't work. Would appreciate your help. Thanks,

Thanks for writing in.
Drawings do not get saved as part of the chart template. You will need to add the drawing to every new chart you are working with. Drawing templates can be saved in order to set drawing preferences.

If the script for Profit/loss of last trades is:
SystemPerformance.AllTrades[SystemPerformance.AllTrades.Count - 1].ProfitCurrency;

is the profit and loss for two trades ago:
SystemPerformance.AllTrades[SystemPerformance.AllTrades.Count - 2].ProfitCurrency;

This does not seem to work when I try it.

Hi Giovanna, thanks for the reply. Basically I would draw let's say a rectangle on a 1m chart, and usually this would also be made on another 5m chart as well. I would save the drawings template for 'All Charts'. But now that same drawing doesn't get transferred over for some reason.

Yes Global Drawing objects. Before I didn't need to have to click on the drawings property and manually have to put it as 'All charts' since I saved it as a default. Now it's not showing up on all the charts, and requires manually setting it.

I was able to sync all my drawings when I have more than one chart of the same instrument with different time frames.

This should have been fixed in 8.0.23.2.

To update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:

• First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
• Click on the link: https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
• Enter your license key and press Submit
• Select 'NinjaTrader 8'
• Select 'Download'
• Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

Please let us know if the issue persists after updating Ninjatrader 8.
