Cumulative Delta + Tick chart

Hey,

One question we a very few variants.

I am trying to view a delta chart on top of a tick chart, or a delta chart with a price scale to the right or a delta chart behind tick chart.

Any thoughts/options? I tried to put the delta chart in the same panel and it just goes blank.

Also does NT8 have a delta counter similar to a bar timer but for delta bars.

Hello minip,

Can you please set Panel to the same panel as the data series in the Indicator menu for the Order Flow Cumulative Delta indicator. Set 'Scale justification' to Left. If it shares the same price axis, the price axis will extend greatly which causes price bars to vertically compress.

You can determine if price bars, indicators and other chart objects are drawn on top or behind each other using the Z-order. Please click a chart object once so it is selected. Hold the Shift key and scroll your mouse wheel. This will change the Z-order of the object so you can plot it as you like. Unfortunately there is no delta counter indicator that is similar to the BarTimer indicator available by default.

thanks for the detailed response, if I wanted to only show the delta chart but with the delta scale and the price scale is that possible?

Hello minip,
Yes, it is possible. You would still need to have the indicator and the data series in the same panel, just as instructed previously.
The color for the following items in Data Series > Chart Style would need to be changed to Transparent:

• Candle body outline
• Candle wick
• Color for down bars
• Color for up bars

Doing this will render the data series invisible, but will still provide data for the indicator to calculate.
