    Adjusted Scale implications

    Hi,

I currently adjust the price scale for my instruments so that they are in the increments I require.

When I do that though when the price runs up or down it eventually just runs off the chart. I have multipe charts showing so pain to then move each one around.

Is there any solution to keep the scaling I have created for the Y axis but move the chart up if the price moves up and down if price moves down

    Example below of what happens

    Thanks

    Hello cummish,

Unfortunately this is not supported. When you adjust the price scale, the chart uses a fixed scale and not an automatic scale anymore. You can see this by the letter F in the upper right corner. If you click the F, the chart will change back to automatic scaling and it will show the current price again. It is not possible to use a combination of fixed and automatic scale.

      Thanks

Something you should look at for functionality to keep charts "looking the same" often you want the scale to remain a certain size - else rescaling all the time makes charts look very different depending on how volatile the market is.

An alternate way to do that is to implement a scale option button so one can toggle between a set increment in the "scale" on the the y axis and toggle to the automatic scale to display current price on chart and then reset those to their preferred scale.
this could all be controlled from that same "F" button you referred to
