    Exposing a ConcurrentBag<T> collection as a property

    I have an indicator which exposes a ConcurrentBag collection as public for use in a strategy. This works fine but when I save the chart hosting the indicator I get a 'Not able to serialize' error.

    The line of code in the indicator is : public ConcurrentBag<GeneralSignalFDAX> FDAXSignalsGeneral;

    Do I need to add a Serializable attribute to this and use a getter/setter to expose as a property to avoid the error? Also is it possible to use a ConcurrentBag collection as a property or would this need to be converted to a list?

    Hello mballagan,

    Thank you for the post.

    You would need to add a XMLIgnore attribute to prevent that from being saved in the workspace/template. https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...eattribute.htm

    I look forward to being of further assistance.
