Error during initiation

Hi NT team,

I got the attached error when i try to open the software. Could you help me to solve this? I cannot operate since i cannot open the platform

Thank you for writing in.

There are two possible causes of why you are seeing this error. Either a recent Windows update and/or Windows Defender has caused the Windows security setting of "Controlled Folder Access" to 'On' to cause issues with NinjaTrader writing to your PC. Or you may also have Safe Files in Bit Defender enabled.

My apologies, please follow the instructions below for a different way to try and find the controlled folder access option:

• From your Windows Desktop, Select Start > Search for 'Controlled folder access'
• Click Virus & threat protection
• Click 'Manage settings' under Virus & threat protection settings
• Click 'Manage Controlled folder access'
• Switch the Controlled Folder Access setting to Off.

Thank you for your quick answer!

Indeed it was related to the anti-virus, it was blocking the access of NT8 to a certain file. I added an exemption and now i can execute NT8. Thank you for your help
