    NinjaTrader 8 not starting up

    Hi,

    While downloading historical data the process was taking too long so I closed the download window and after decided to close NT8 and turn off the PC. Later, I tried to startup NT8 and continue but got a popup message saying: Unable to recover NinjaTrader custom assembly. There is not enough space on the disk.
    I did a checkdisk and verified all OK with tens of GBs available.
    Can you please assist ? Thank you.

    Thank you for your post.

    Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.

    You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

    Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

    Please reference the following ticket number in the body of the email: 2954714 ATTN Spencer F.

      I can't do that since NT8 won't startup/load.

        There is a video here that will show you how to open NT8 in "safe mode". ... https://www.xabcdtrading.com/blog/us...ninjatrader-8/ if it still doesn't work then there is something wrong with the core install and i would install it again. If it does start up you know its a configuration issue or an addon. But at least this way you can troubleshoot the issue to know where it is...

        Not sure if you already solved it but if not this should point you in the right direction.

          My NT8 won't start up all of asudden as well. Can anyone help?

            Thank you for your post.

            This would require us to review your log and trace files.

            Please write in to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com and attach your log and trace files manually using the steps below:
            • Open your NinjaTrader folder under, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents")
            • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
            • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments
            • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
