Tick replay on secondary data series

This is not so much a question as an observation that might need clarification. In the NT8 documentation under Developing for Tick Replay there is this statement: "To enable tick replay it must be manually enabled on the primary Data Series ..." However, in the Data Series setup dialog there are individual check boxes to enable tick replay separately for each data series. It has been my custom with multi-series charts and indicators only to check this box for any series that requires the tick replay, and uncheck it for those that do not. This appears to work consistently, even when the box is not checked for the primary series, despite what the documentation says ... or am I overlooking something obvious?

If the 'Show tick replay' checkbox is enabled in the Tools > Options > Market Data tab, a Tick Replay checkbox will be displayed for all instruments added to the chart using the Data Series window.

The message "To enable tick replay it must be manually enabled on the primary Data Series ..." refers to enabling Tick Replay for the primary data series that you are enabling your script on. The Data Series added on the chart using the Data Series window is different than the secondary Data Series that is added to a script using AddDataSeries().

For example, if you have a script that is enabled on the ES 03-21 instrument (primary series) and your script uses AddDataSeries() to add a CL 03-21 instrument (secondary series), Tick Replay would need to be enabled on the ES 03-21 instrument since that is the primary instrument that your script is running on.
