Alerts

HELP!! New to NT8, set up an alert or two and didnt write them down. Have since made too many charts and can't locate the alert to deactivate it. Alert1 sound is driving me crazy.
Is there a log or trace files to help determine what's going on, where and why????
If i save a chart template, does the alert go with it? Seems like it does.
Uninstall reinstall NT8??

Hello Curtis4Service,

Thanks for posting.

You may check for the source of the alert by clicking New > Alerts Log in the Control Center, then right-clicking on the allert message and clicking Go to Alert, which will bring the chart containing the alert to the forefront of your screen.

Nothing in the log. I have one indicator, MACD, which has an alert when crossing zero line. All have a unique sound and I can see as the Alert1 sounds, it's not the MACDs.
Is there another log which references more plotting or calculations to help find this nightmare?

If the alert is not generating a message in the alerts log, then you will need to check the Alerts menu in each chart until you find the alert.

Do saved chart Templates carry over alerts???
