IB data not fully loading sometimes

I am using NT8 (8.0.22.2) and using IB TWS (Build 981.2y) for data.
On some occasions the higher time frame charts will not load at all even after waiting an hour or more, although lower time frames like 30 minutes and below load perfectly. On other occasions all charts load perfectly.
Any suggestions?

You'll need to be using the supported version of TWS as per the connection guide below to ensure the connection functions correctly:

I also see that you're using an older version of NinjaTrader 8. To update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:

• First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
• Click on the link: https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
• Enter your license key and press Submit
• Select 'Download'
• Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.
