    Rithmic Connection Failure - Check your account connection parameters

    Hi team,

    I am new to Ninja and am trying to connect NinjaTrader 8 to Rithmic but continually getting connection failed errors. I have entered all the credentials etc. per instructions (I am using a trial via OneUp). I am also using RTrader Pro and have enabled the settings for the plug-in mode per https://help.oneuptrader.com/help/ni...nnection-guide

    Just wondering if any tips that I can check to resolve?

    I have the trace logs available if needed.

    I would like to review your log and trace files to see if we are able to diagnose the connection errors. Please send them to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com


    Alternatively, you may send them directly through the platform by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

    Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

    Please reference the following ticket number in the body of the email: 3049146 ATTN Emily



    In your email, please confirm if you are able to connect to R|Trader Pro successfully with your credentials or if you receive an error in that system as well.

      Thanks Emily, I have sent the logs via the control center and also confirmed in the email I am able to connect successfully to RTraderPro with the same credentials.

        Thank you again for the help troubleshooting.

        Installing a prior NinjaTrader version 8.0.23.2 resolved the issue.

          Thank you for your post.


          I am glad to hear that the issue you were having was resolved on 4-8-2021, however downgrading the platform to a previous version is not recommended as a solution. Being able to connect after downgrading seems to be coincidental, and we certainly suggest staying up-to-date on the most current version of NinjaTrader which is currently 8.0.24.2.
