    IB account balance.

    Hope you can help with this. I am connected to IBKR through the platform .However, my account still shows practice amount. How can I change/correct this?

    Thank you for your post.

    Before you are able to place trades from NinjaTrader to your Interactive Brokers account, you will need to either purchase or lease a live license key.

    Can you please send an email to platformsales[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com and include your NinjaTrader license key? You can access your license key from the NinjaTrader Control Center > Help > License Key.

      Bad news,
      you live IB account value will not show up even with a purchased version, it is not implemented in NT.

        I would expect the cash value to display in the NinjaTrader Control Center's Accounts tab for Interactive Brokers accounts if:
        • You're connected to your Interactive Brokers account
        • A live license key is entered into NinjaTrader
        • You're using the supported version of TWS/Gateway
        Visit the link below and view the table to understand what account information each broker supplies to NinjaTrader:So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:
        • What version of NinjaTrader 8 are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.?.?)
        • What version of TWS/Gateway are you using?
        • What are the first four characters of your NinjaTrader license Key? You will find this under Help -> License Key. DO NOT post your entire license key.

            I have read the page just now and it tells me that IB / NT are providing values like buying power etc.

            The only values I get from live account are un/realised Pnl for single positions. No account values.
            The IB account is in CHF. Did I miss something?

              Hello,

              Thanks for the reply.

              Please be sure your account currency in NinjaTrader matches that of your brokerage account.

              To do so, go to the Accounts tab of the Control Center and right-click on your live Interactive Brokers account. Select 'edit account' then change the 'denomination' setting to match the denomination in which your account is funded.

              Click OK to save the changes, then disconnect and reconnect to the account.
