Need Support With Order Placing

Hi,

I'm a scalper . Sometimes it happens that I buy 5 lots on a buy signal , immediately afterward I sense market sentiment has changed & I sell say my standard 5 lots size again on a newly generated sell signal . What happens is NT8 will take me out of my previous 5 lots buy orders (which is still a valid trade & should reach my take profit target soon) when I sell these new 5 orders . Is there any way to keep both 5 buy & 5 sell orders - without canceling each other out?

Thank you for your post.

You can use the ATM feature to submit a buy and a sell order that won't cancel each other out. To do this you will want to use the following steps to change your ATM Strategy selection mode and have two separate Charts or SuperDOMs open.

• Right-click on the SuperDOM or Chart Trader
• Properties
• ATM Strategy selection mode
• Choose "DisplaySelectedATMStrategyOnly" from the dropdown window
• Click Ok

With this mode, your positions will get their own stop loss and targets and will be managed separately in each SuperDOM or Chart Trader. I have included a link below to our Help Guide that goes over the different ATM Strategy Selection Modes.
