How to reset the parameters in a chart loaded strategy to the C# strategy source?

Hi,

I really must not be understanding something very fundamental with very serious implications regarding running automated trading strategies.
I'm looking at the source for a strategy and see on set of values, there is no template defined for the strategy, and I see different values then what is in the source?

Which would not be troubling given that's what templates are for, but when I reset the template setting, the farthest lower right field on the strategy parameter panel, I am not seeing the values change to what is contained in the source.

Can someone please either explain what I've misunderstood and/or give me a link to read. I thought I understood how it works.

Sorry I missed this. Yes it seemed as if when I hit - template reset the values in the source code where not appearing in the parameters.

There were other time when that also appeared to be the case but I'm not certain.

In any even with that one strategy reset brings the source based parameters.

Hello glen,

The SampleMACrossover included with NinjaTrader has two inputs Fast and Slow which are coded in the script to default to 10 and 15.

I've tested saving a template for these, even as Default, and then resetting.
