When trying to access the API settings I am getting this message: "API support is not available for accounts that support commission free trading." What does this mean and where do I go from here?

Newbie setting up an IB/NT connection for first time. Using the guide here https://ninjatrader.com/ConnectionGu...nnection-Guide

Thank you for reply.
This version of Trader Workstation is not fully supported and I would recommend uninstalling the current version and install the version specified (978.2c) in the Interactive Brokers Connection Guide.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support
Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

Hello Dennis,
Thank you for your post.
This is one method you may use or you may use the Auto logon option and select the appropriate Interactive Brokers program, (TWS or Gateway), and lastly, selecting the correct Auto logon path.
You will also want to enter your username and password into your Interactive Brokers Connection Guide. which is linked in post #4 above.
