    ATM display SL & TP before order fill

    Hi!

    Apologies if this has been answered before but I've not been able to find an answer.

    Is it possible for an order with an ATM strategy attached to display the SL & TP before the order is filled, and adjust those values? This is common enough in other brokerage platforms but I've not been able to find this in NT8.

    Thank you very much for your post.

    At the current time, this would not be possible. As the Stop Loss and Profit Target depend on the price of the entry, the platform only sets them once the entry order fills.

    We currently have a pending feature request with our Development Team in this regard that would enable a preview of where the exit orders would submit upon the projected fill of the entry order.

    We are tracking interest in this feature under SFT-3700, I have added a vote to this request on your behalf.

                Please add my vote to this feature request. NT seems to be so focused on strategies that it ignores what should be simple tools for manual order entry and management.

                    Yeah, this feature likely won't ever happen. Thinkorswim has had this since forever. I use Sierra for futures trading now. I could kick myself for plunking down $1k for Ninja "Trader". Such a waste of money. I wish I could get a refund on a lifetime license. Oh well, live and learn. It's just money, right?? Lol.

                            • Demand which is measured by objective user requests and subjective discretion on the part of our Product Management team.
                            • Feasibility
                            • Developer bandwidth
                            • Current projects in the queue
                            • Economics

                            You'll find a note regarding your feature request in the release notes when a feature is implemented.​
