Backup Issue

Hello,

I have created a backup and now want to run it on another computer on NT8.I go via tools-import-backup file
Then comes the message : Restore Backup Archive Error PUBG mouse setting

what can be the reason for this?

It sounds like one of the files in the backup might be corrupt or cannot be restored as-is.

I would suggest manually restoring this backup to resolve this. To do this, please follow the steps below:

• Make a copy of the backup file to keep the original backup safe.
• Rename the extension of the backup file from ".nt8bk" to ".zip"
  • For example, if the backup was created today, the file name would be 2021-05-28.nt8bk. Change this to 2021-05-28.zip.
• Next, open the .zip file and manually transfer the folders to the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 folder, overwriting the files in this destination.

Please note: If you plan to overwrite the whole installation you may simply transfer all folders. If you would like to only replace specific parts, e.g. workspaces or templates, you may also selectively copy the folders in question.
