Hi guys,

I am trying to backtest 10 years of data using the playback feature, I have downloaded tick-by-tick data (forex) but it is only downloading data as far back as july 2017, is there a way to get more data ?

Who was the data downloaded from?
Was this data downloaded within the platform, or was it downloaded and then imported into the platform?

It was downloaded from the platform, I'm connected to FXCM so I presume its downloaded from them.

If done within the platform, this would indicate this is all the data available from your data provider's servers. To obtain tick data further back you would need to either connect to a data provider with more data, or download the data from a 3rd party in order to import the data to NinjaTrader.
