FXCM Real connection - incomplete last bar

    FXCM Real connection - incomplete last bar

    I have configured NT8 to use FXCM Real connection.
    For pair AUDCAD the most recent daily bar is messed up (high, low, open, close prices are almost the same)
    In FXCM MT4 the bar is OK.
    Any idea what is going on?

    Hello romanzagorowski,

    Unfortunately there was an issue with our historical data servers. They did not record forex data between 3:18PM yesterday and 4:45AM EST today. We are working to restore the missing historical data on the servers.

    For now, you can use the following workaround.
    • Disconnect FXCM first.
    • Go to Control Center-->Connections and click configure in the lower right corner.
    • Select your FXCM connection in the lower left under Configured.
    • Disable 'NinjaTrader historical data server' on the right.
    • Click OK.
    Connect to FXCM again and check if the missing historical data is loaded. If not initially, please right click in the chart and select "Reload All Historical Data".

      Your workaround worked! Thanks!
      But I must say, I observe issues like this one all the time. There is no week without a problem like this. Some time it is the last bar, some time there is a gap in a middle of a week. Not only on daily charts but in lower time frames as well.
      Tell me please. Leaving that "NinjaTrader historical data server" option for connection disabled for good is OK?
      If it helpd can I set it off permamently?
      I realy like your platform but if you cannot provide reliable data feed I will use it only for paintings... And do my trading using MT4...
      Again, thank you so much for your help.

        Hello Roman,

        You could leave it disabled if you like (and you will load historical data from FXCM servers).
