Not able to have two connections to Rithmic at once. Solutions? NT7 for connection 2?

Hello,

I'm doing one of those evaluation programs which connects through Rithmic. I decided to enter another program simultaneously and figured I could be connected to both at once and simply switch between accounts in Ninjatrader 8, but just now I was not able to connect to the new account while at the same time connected to the first account. Both use Rithmic.

Error message: "There can't be more than one connection to "Rithmic for Ninjatrader Brokerage" at any given time. (Panic)"

1. Is there a way to work around this so that I can still use NT8 for both accounts simultaneously?

2. Could an alternative be to use NT7 instead? And have a single chart/DOM for order entry? Will I be able to connect through both accounts at once doing this?

I assume multiple instances of NT8 on the same computer doesn't work.

The only way to connect to both accounts in NinjaTrader simultaneously on the same PC would be to run NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 8 both at the same time.

I would have to agree with jeronymite that it should be possible to do within NT8, so I'll add my vote there.
