    Receiving Error Message "NQ 09-21" is not supported by this account

    I'm currently receiving the error message (See Attached) below when trying to live trade futures on Ninja trader. My brokerage account is TD Ameritrade and I have the real time data feeds from Kinetick.

      Thank you for your post.

      Please send your log and trace files to our Platform Support Team so that I may look into what occurred.

      You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

      Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

      Please reference the following ticket number in the body of the email:3192419 ATTN Raygen

        Thank you for your reply.

        I notice in your log and trace files you are experiencing network connectivity issues.

        To resolve this, I recommend the following steps (test for the issue after each step):
        • Restart NinjaTrader
        • Restart your modem and (if applicable) router
        • Restart your PC

          Hi Raygen,

          Looks like I wasn't able to get to this in time to check today. I followed the steps but now my data on NQ chart isn't showing. Might be because its after hours. Will try again on Monday and let you know. Thanks so far for your help!

              Thank you for your reply.

              I notice you are trying to place an order for a futures instrument with TD Ameritrade. TD Ameritrade only supports stock trading with NinjaTrader.

              Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.

                Hi Raygene,

                I wish someone would've given me the correct information prior to me purchasing as I was informed that I could trade futures with TD Ameritrade through Ninja Trader. Thanks for your help!

                  This is Melissa, reaching out on behalf of Raygen. What she has told you is correct, you cannot trade futures with a TD Ameritrade connection in NinjaTrader.

                    Hi Melissa,

                    Thanks for the additional info. I'm not saying that Raygen was wrong in any way shape or form. Raygen was a big help in solving the issue. Prior to Raygen, I was told that I could use TD as my brokerage and purchase Kinetick which would allow me to trade Futures but that clearly wasn't the case. I am aware now with Raygen's help and will look to other options as I like the Ninja trader platform. Thanks so much for both of your help! Have a great day!
