    NT8 has a yellow connection light that wont turn green.

    My yellow connection light will not turn green. I am trying to connect a new brokerage to NT8, the other brokerage connection turns green without issue. I have checked my log in information and it is correct. What else could the problem be?

    Hello actualfacts.2021,

    To what new brokerage do you try to connect in the NinjaTrader platform?

    Can you please send me your log and trace files so that I may investigate.

    You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

    Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

    Please reference the following ticket number in the body of the email: Att Jason, 3193927

        Hello Todd Geiger,

        Can you please send me your log & trace files using the instructions of post #3. Please include in the email to what broker/data feed/prop firm you are trying to connect as well.

          I am having the same issue and I got an error message that read: The IB you are trying to connect to is not authorized to use NinjaTrader Brokerage logon failed....please help. Thank you

            Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

            What is the broker you are trying to connect?

            What version do you have installed? (Help -> About)

            Are you using the 'Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage' connection?

            Have you logged in with R-Trader and approved all documents?

              I have just tried to connect my Earn2trade rithmic account to ninjatrader 8.1.1.7. the circle will not turn green and stays yellow. I have approved the documents on Rithmic. I have emailed support with log & trace files also. Please help

                Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

                Thank you for letting me know you have emailed in support as this where I would have directed you.

                As long as you are using the Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage connection and you are able to login to R-Trader and have approved the documents I would expect NinjaTrader to connect.

                The support team member will have a look through the trace file and will have further information.
