NinjaTrader no longer suggest using BitMex for market data. If you want to receive cryptocurrency data into NinjaTrader, we would recommend using the free data integration from Coinbase:

Thank you for your answer. But can trades be placed on bitmex and coinbase from inside ninja?

Hello Duval,

NinjaTrader does not currently support cryptocurrency trading. You can use Coinbase and BitMex as market data providers for the NinjaTrader platform., but you will not be able to execute trades to these accounts.

Hi,
Can you, please, clarify why NinjaTrader no longer suggests using BitMEX for market data? I use BitMEX for trading and have used NT8 for market analysis, but there seem to be some issues with connecting to BitMEX data lately.

We would typically recommend using Coinbase for cryptocurrency data because this connection will provide both real-time & historical data. However, you can still connect to BitMEX for real-time quotes.
