    Hi
    Does Coinbase do data for BTC?
    I know they do data for BTCUSD - but what the difference between the two?

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    The symbol BTC represents the CME Bitcoin futures instrument in NinjaTrader. Since this is a futures instrument, data for this instrument would not available with the Coinbase connection. The BTCUSD symbol represents the Bitcoin/US dollar exchange rate and is a crypto pair that is supported by the Coinbase connection, so you would be able to view a chart for it.

      How do I view a chart for the CME Bitcoin Futures? Which data feed would you recommend for this?

        Thank you for your reply.

        Most, if not all, futures providers that support the Globex exchange would offer data for this instrument. However, you'd need to contact the broker/provider directly to know if they support this instrument. You may view a list of all our supported connectivity providers, and the classes of instruments that they provide data for, at the link below;

          Hi Zachary
          Thanks for that.
          I did manage to open BTC 09-21 with the Continuum data feed but the chart does not update live. Any idea why?

            Thank you for your reply.

            If the chart is not updating in real-time, this would indicate that you are not subscribed to real-time data for this instrument. If you are using the demo, that would be expected as real-time data for the instrument is not available through the demo. If you are connected to a live account, you would need to contact your broker/data provider to ensure that this instrument is properly enabled on your account. If your broker/data provider confirms that you are enabled but you are still not receiving real time updates, please send an email to platformsupport(at)ninjatrader(dot)com with your log and trace files attached so that we can look into it more thoroughly.
