A way to quickly turn on and off crosshairs?

Hi,

I would like to be able to turn on and off the crosshairs on the actual chart. For example, if the option were on a floating toolbar on the chart so I can quickly click on whether it should be crosshairs or a regular mouse pointer. Is this possible with any built-ins or is there something I can download that will allow it?

Thanks for your post.

When you go to the toolbar and select the cursor take note that there are "hot keys" you can select to perform the actions you are after.

If you have a conflict with the hot keys, you can always change them to your preference using the Tools>Hot keys.

Thanks. I'm aware of the hot keys but I prefer not touching the keyboard for faster executions. I prefer when things are just a click away. Is my original question a possibility?

If I understand correctly, you want to reduce from the 2 clicks to change cursors to 1 click to change cursors.

I am not aware of a specific toolbar to do this with and you are welcome to review the user-added tools bars and other potentials in the NT User Apps section of the NinjaTrader Ecosystem. Also, is there a way to make the crosshair only a horizontal line and get rid of the vertical line?

There is no option to turn off the vertical or horizontal line. The only option is to reduce the crosshair to just a small cross.
