Historical data: Make backup in one timezone and Restore in another

Hello.

How does backup \ restore functionality deals with time-zones and historical data time-stamps?
Here is my example: what if would make backup on PC in Hong Kong (GMT+8) and then restore this backup, say, in United States (UTC +8)?
What would happen with time-stamps?

Thank you for reaching out and for your patience while I tested this.

NinjaTrader will convert these time-stamps to reflect the time zone you are in unless you import the config file. This would set the time zone in the platform to match the backup data.

I've checked documentation and forum on "configuration files" and found this:
manual: Contains user specific information such as license keys, account settings, and other user defined options.
forum: The configuration file will contain your license key and connections.

Can I read somewhere about how to manipulate with time using configuration files?



Am I clearly understand that, in the example above, if to restore backup without configuration files, NT will convert historical time stems from HK to US time?

Unfortunately, we do not have any publicly available documents on this specific item for backup files. The Config file contains all of your platform settings like your time zone.
