How do I add a new exchange to Ninjatrader

    Hello,
I'd like to add Euronext Brussels Equity to my available exchange list.
The code on IB is ENEXT.BE
    Is that possible?
A symbol with exchange Default does not seem to work
    tnx

    Hello Frank,

Unfortunately this is not possible - you can't add exchanges to the available exchanges in NinjaTrader.

I was able to receive realtime data upon testing the ABI stock. Can you please setup the stock the same as the screenshot and check if you receive realtime data. I have the Default exchange enabled.

      Hello Jason,
When I change ABI|ENEXT.BE to ABI with the Default exchange selected I get : " Error requesting bars series."
When reloading history in a chart...

Do you receive realtime data for the ABI stock?

Does the error message only say "Error requesting bars series" or does contain more information?

What TWS version do you have installed?

Yes I have, Indeed the message had more info. I attached the picture.
I noticed that my chart had trouble loading data.
I closed it and opened a new one. Then it ran fine!!! The ABI chart is shown now.

            Hello knarfoe,

            Thank you for your post.

When the NinjaTrader platform adds a new instrument, it would use the "Default" exchange as standard. Can you verify that this exchange is the one that matches what is in Interactive Brokers?

To change this, please click on Tools > Instruments, and search for the RSI.

Once the instrument is selected, please click on "Edit", click on "1 exchange" and switch out the "Default" for the correct exchange. After this has been changed, please reconnect to your Interactive Brokers connection, you should then receive real-time data for this instrument.

Please let me know if I may help you further.

              Hi,
I'm running into a similar problem in trying to access stocks from Japan. Please see screenshot below. As can be seen, the exchange for Japanese stocks is TSEJ from within Interactive Brokers (one of the biggest / best brokers people use from NT). From this post, it seems the default Japanese exchange from NT is TSE and this can't be changed? I find it hard to believe I can't access Japanese equities from Interactive Brokers through Ninj - the largest exchange in Asia???
Please let me know how I configure Ninja to pull up a chart for stocks on TSEJ.
              thanks,

                Hello PolarBear,

Unfortunately our Interactive Brokers account is not enabled for TSEJ stocks, so I can't test it. I suggest to try the different configurations below. I used the Konami Group Corp stock (9766) as example.
                • Only the Default exchange enabled with 9766|TSEJ as symbol map.
                • Only the Tse exchange enabled with 9766 as symbol map.
                • Both the Default and Tse exchanges enabled and 9766 as symbol map.
Make sure to set Currency to Japanese Yen as well.
