BarsSinceEntry in Strategy Builder

Hi
I would like to place an exit order 1 bar following the execution of initial order.
I see Misc/Bars Since Entry, but I don't understand how to use it in Strategy Builder order management.

Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

Bars since entry execution will provide a number of bars that have passed since the last entry order has filled.

On the left select Bars since entry execution, in the center select Equals, on the right select Misc -> Numeric value, set this to 1.

Thank you for the explanations and links!
I have 4 sets for two patterns - 2 for long and 2 for short. Did I understand correctly that to use exit with Bars Since Entry, I need to create 4 more sets for each pattern?

Hello DmytroP,

You would not have to create 4 more sets unless that's what you logic needed.

Bars since entry can be used in the condition set where you are wanting to prevent the action until Bars since entry is greater than the value you are wanting.
