Applying alerts to lots of instruments

Hello,
I have an indicator that alerts when a data point is reached.
What is the best way to apply that to lots of instruments at once so that I can be alerted based on specific criteria?
Do I have to have the charts open with the indicator assigned or is there a better method?

Hello spikeruk,

You can load the indicator in the Market Analyzer using an Indicator column. The Market Analyzer can hold multiple instruments. You can open the Market Analyzer at Control Center-->New-->Market Analyzer. See the link below for information on the Market Analyzer.

Please right click in the Market Analyzer and select Add Instrument(s) to add the instruments you like. You can add an entire instrument list at once by selecting 'Select all' (at the top of the instrument list).

Right click again and select 'Columns'. Add an Indicator column and select the indicator in question.

Any what if I'm only receiving end of day data?
Can I run this each day and get the indicators to re-apply?, how would I do that?

Yes, you can run this each day. Once you setup the Market Analyzer as you like, please save your workspace. That way, the Market Analyzer will come up automatically when you start NinjaTrader for the day.
