I get this error when downloading NinjaTrader. Does it have anything to do with Windows 11?

Thank you for your post.
This error is not specific to Windows 11, but would appear if you are running a 32-Bit system with the latest release of NinjaTrader.
64-bit has become the standard for applications in the Windows environment, and NinjaTrader 8.0.27.0 will be solely a 64-bit Windows application going forward.

If your system is 32-bit, please download the previous release from the Download page, under 'Previous Releases'>'NinjaTrader 8: 8.0.26.1'.
This is the last release that will be compatible with 32-bit systems.

I am having a similar issue. I have Windows 11 installed. I searched and it seems Windows 11 only comes in 64-Bit. So not sure why this error is occurring.

Thank you for your post.
Here is an excerpt from our support article with a possible fix for this error, "How Can I Troubleshoot Error Messages when Updating or Installing NinjaTrader Desktop?":

• Error reported: There was a problem starting "C:\Location. C:\Location" is not a valid Win32 application
  • Possible Fix:
    • Check your PC for any pending Windows Updates and Install, then re-run the downloaded installer file
    • If the above does not resolve this, please contact a PC technician
