any way to record trade video footage?

I need to know if there is any way to record my trades on video so I can play it back and analyze what is causing all my latest trades to fail.

Is there a program within NT8, or in windows 10 that can record footage? Or do I have to get a video camera?

There is not a feature inside of NinjaTrader that would allow you to record video.

There are several third party applications that would do this, however as NinjaTrader technicians we cannot recommend a specific one.

For recording trades, you don’t necessarily need a video camera. Windows 10 has a built-in feature called Game Bar that can record activities on your screen. Just press Windows key + G to open the Game Bar while you are in the trading program and start recording. It’s great for capturing everything happening on your screen, including your trades.

I’ve used Movavi to analyze my own trading sessions by recording them and then playing back to see what went wrong or right. Movavi also allowed me to combine different video clips, which was useful for comparing different trading days or strategies.
