Upgrade To Windows 11?
Have there been any reported compatibility issues with NinjaTrader 8 after upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 to Window 11? Microsoft is urging me to upgrade to W11, but I want to make sure this will not disrupt my trading.Tags: None

Hello,
At this time, Windows 11 is not officially supported as our development team is still testing compatibility with the new OS. With that said, we are not aware of any major issues or limitations with Windows 11, but recommend using Windows 10 if possible until we can fully support Windows 11.Ryan S.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Currently the next version of NinjaTrader 8 is expected to be supported with Windows 11.
In regards to compatibility with TDA, this is referencing Windows 11 getting rid of Internet Explorer, which TDA currently requires to authenticate their connection. This is also being addressed currently.Ryan S.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Or is this just a convenient way to try and get more subscribers to Kinetick?
I ask because Windows 11 has now been out officially for hmmm about 4 months. (and more than 2 months since your post regarding the issue) Meaning it's not news that IE isnt supported any longer I also realize that it is not solely on yall again BUT you have a relationship with TDA and it's your platform that utilizes this way of "authorizing" as I recall in years past it just took the customer of TDA to contact them and get it approved which only took a email.

that's great news the part I don't understand is why if it has been addressed doesn't NT release the new version so that customers on Windows 11 can utilize this connection.
If there are numerous other items planned within the "next release" then just release a update to the existing version that address this issue.
I mean NT has done it on previous versions e.g. 8.0.24.0, 8.024.1, 8.024.2, 8.0.24.3 why is this any different?

Hi Ninja Trader sorry but when the Heck are yall going to do something for your customers that are on Windows 11 that wish to use TDAmeritrade connection?
According to above post from Ryan you have already addressed this but yet you do not provide a update/patch for those of us that wish to use it now, not later.
