how to change instrument on overlaid chart
I loaded 2 instruments (ES and NQ) on a single chart. When I tried to place an order on both instrument I could not change it. The instrument was grayed and not changeable. It's pre-set to ES. Is there a way to change instrument (from ES to NQ) so that I can simply place and manage my order on each instrument on one single chart?

Hello jjanguda,
Thank you for your post.
Could you please send an image to clarify the behavior you are seeing?
To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.
Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

You could post the image to your forum reply, or send an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com with the image as an attachment. In the email please include a link to this forum thread.
We look forward to assisting you further.Shawn B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hello jjanguda,
Thank you for your post.
I can confirm that data series set to align left will not be selectable in the Chart trader. You'll need to ensure the instruments you're wanting to trade are set to Right alignment in your chart.
As this would likely make the chart difficult to read with 2 instruments in the same panel, you could move one instrument to another panel or Simply use a different order entry window for your second instrument that is left aligned like the SuperDOM.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.Heath R.NinjaTrader Customer Service
