how can show the Position size and PnL flag and Average entry price

when i update the ninjatrader 8, this part in circle is not show, i can show it again?

Thank you for the question.

To see the PnL flag that is circled within the screenshot above, you would need to have Chart Trader open and then Enter a position.

Once you are in a position, the Position Entry Price line will have the PnL box displayed at the end of it.

Please open a Chart and then turn on Chart Trader

• Make sure the Sim101 account is selected
• Click Buy Market
• Does the Position Entry Price line appear with the PnL showing at the end?

If not, please respond with a screenshot of that chart while it is in a position so we may see what it looks like.

• If you are unsure of how to take a screenshot, I recommend using the Windows Snipping tool.

• Click on the Windows Icon at the bottom of your screen and type the word "Snip"
• Click on the Snipping tool, click New, then click and drag around the area you want to screenshot
• Click File > Save As > Save the screenshot where you can find it

Please begin by turning Chart Trader off and then turning it back on, does the Position Entry Price line appear?

If you change the selected account to another one and back, does the Position Entry Price line appear?

If the Position Entry Price line and PnL box are still not showing, please perform the following test:

• Create a New chart for the ES 12-21
• Make it a 5-minute chart
• Set the 'Days to load' to 5
• Make sure 'Template' in the top-right corner is set to < None >
• Click OK to make the chart
  • Now, place a test trade to the chart to see if the Position Entry Price line appears

If the Position Entry Price line is still not appearing:

• Close NinjaTrader
• Go to the Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features > Click NinjaTrader 8 > Click Repair > Click Next through the prompts until finished
• Reopen NinjaTrader and place a Test Trade using Chart Trader

Thank you for the note.

If the Position Entry Price line is showing, then you do not need to create a Test chart any longer. Although, here is the additional information on your question about the Template.

Only when you create a New Chart does the "Template" selection appear.

• If you just go to the Data Series window of an already created chart, the "Template" option will not appear.

When creating the Test chart in my previous instructions, creating a brand New chart and making sure to select <None> is an important step as it ensures no additional indicators or settings are applied to the chart when it is created.
