    Can Not Connect to Continuum

    Hello,

    From Thursday to now my Continuum feed will no longer connect. Getting the error message:

    My NinjaTrader Continuum: Gateway logon timed out. (Logon failed).

    I have internet connection so it's not that. Please help!

    So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:
    • What version of NinjaTrader 8 are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.?.?)
    • Was this connection working previously? Or has it never worked?
    • Does this symptom persist if you restart your PC?

      my windows 32 bit

        Are you trying to connect to a futures demo data feed or a live brokerage account? If the latter, who is your broker?

            What date was the demo requested? Check the email you received from CQG with the futures demo username and password in it for that date.

            Please make sure you are following the connection guide below precisely. Common areas for mistakes are ensuring that "NinjaTrader Continuum" is the provider, ensuring that you do not include any spaces before, within, or after the username or password, and ensuring that "demo mode" is checked:

                Please forward the email you received from CQG with the demo username and password to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com. Make sure to include "3392610 ATTN Patrick G" and a link to this forum post in the forwarded email subject or body.

                  I replied to your email just now and am posting the same information here for others reference

                  I was able to successfully connect using the demo credentials in the email you forwarded. Make sure you're copying and pasting from these emails instead of trying to manually type in the credentials. The password for your demo has two underscores at the end which cannot be excluded.

                    Is it possible that the Windows version is causing the problem?

                      If you're using an unsupported version of Windows, I wouldn't expect you to have been able to install NinjaTrader at all. Please reply to my email so we can continue troubleshooting.
