NT 8 crash at opening

    NT 8 crash at opening

    I would like to buy NT8 but in my new PC with windows 10 pro, its crash at opening. How could i fix this? I dont have any antivirus.

    Hello MrGri,

    Are you able to open NinjaTrader in Safe Mode with the steps below.
    • Hold the CONTROL key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
    • Keep the CONTROL key held down until you see the Control Center.
    • You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.
    Next while open in Safe Mode so I may look into this further please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line, a link to this thread in the body and a check in the box for "Log and trace files".

ID:	1182121Id try to start in safe mode but NT8 not open. Open a windows with... "verifying license..." and crash after that. In safe mode it is same thing. Its a fresh installation.

        Same as you. I've just installed windows 11 home and i tried to launch and failed. Log file is telling me this:

        2021-12-18 20:33:35:011|2|4|Session Break (Version 8.0.25.0)
        2021-12-18 20:33:36:705|1|4|Verifying license at primary server...
        2021-12-18 20:33:37:010|1|4|Verifying license at secondary server...

        Anyway I attach a capture of this.

        Desesperate. I've check everything thats possible to check.

          I have same issue but with windows 10

            First please reset your dns with the steps below.
            • Go to the Windows menu
            • Type CMD
            • Right click on Command Prompt->Run as administrator
            • Type ipconfig /flushdns then hit Enter
            • Once finished close this window
            • Open NinjaTrader

            If this does not resolve the errors please shut down your PC then reboot your modem, restart your PC and let me know if you can then test your connection again.

            If the issue persists the most common reason is that a firewall, antivirus or other protection software on your PC or on the network your computer is on is preventing a connection to the servers.

            Please close NinjaTrader then disable any firewalls, also anti-virus or other protection software you may have running and close all other applications you may have running on your PC at this time then test once again.
