    life time licence doesn't work in my second device

    I tried to install the platform in my new device, but the software installed doesn't show the connection to Ninja Trader. I put my key code, closed the platform, re opened it but still, it shows other connections (e.g. Coinbase, eSignal) but not ninja broker. At the very beginning of the installation the software asked me to type the user id and password, but it eventually opened the platform automatically without giving me the time to input my data.

    furthermore any time I put the key code or I start the platform, I received the message attached below, I reckon this is causing the issue.

    Thank you for your note.

    Glad to assist. This error usually indicates a temporary connectivity issue. The first thing I would recommend doing is shutting down NinjaTrader and restarting your modem/router.

    If you have an antivirus/firewall installed you will want to add NinjaTrader to its exceptions list.

    Once your are able to launch without issue, the following link will take you to a page that details the steps required for creating a connection to NinjaTrader Continuum:

      thank you for your reply.
      It looks like the modem works properly and I have disabled the firewall. The platform works after showing that message, the only problem is that I can't connect to my account as it does not show any Ninja Trader connectivity. I might try with the other laptop on which the licence works fine. This laptop, I'm having issues with, is a new one and I am trying to install my lifetime licence here too.

          ok I tried with the other device and it everything works properly. Now the question is, can I use the same licence in two different devices?

            im having the same problem, have my main pc with a life license and wanted to have the NT8 on my new laptop has a backup. But im getting license service error

              You may install on multiple PCs with your key as long as only used one-at-a-time.

              If the error continues, Please write into to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com along with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post.

              Include ticket number 3404574 in the body of the email.

              Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.
              Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
              Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
              Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
              Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
