    I cannot connect to ninjatrader

    Have the same issue. No data connection.

    It displays a message

    My NinjaTrader continuum: Gate logon timed out (Logon failed)

    So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:
    • What version of NinjaTrader 8 are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.?.?)
    • Was the connection working previously? Or has it never worked?
    • Does the symptom persist if you restart your PC?

        Does the symptom persist if you restart your PC?

        In general, this is known to be a networking issue. You can go through these steps to troubleshoot (test for the issue after each step):
        • Restart NinjaTrader
        • Restart your modem and (if applicable) router
        • Restart your PC
        • Clear your DNS
        • If you are not already and the option is available to you, connect to the internet using an ethernet cable. Wireless connections are significantly more unreliable.
        • Ensure exceptions have been added into any firewall/antivirus/backup programs for the Documents > "NinjaTrader 8" folder.
        • Ensure that your computer is not turning off your Network Adapter to conserve power:
          • Right-click on your Start button
          • Select 'Device Manager'
          • Expand 'Network Adapters'
          • Right-click on your Network Adapter and select Properties > Power Management
          • Uncheck 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' option
          • Click 'OK' to save the changes
          • Do this for all Network Adapters
        • If the above steps do not help, contact your ISP and let them know you are experiencing a highly unstable connection. An issue of connectivity may exist on their end.

            Can you clarify if you were able to follow these steps from my previous reply?

            For the last step, what did you ISP say when you asked them about the issue?

            Also, other than the message in your screenshot, are there any other errors in the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do they report? If you could provide a screenshot of your Control Center's Log tab that might be helpful in further diagnosing the root cause.

              ISP sya Don't know the cause of the problem in the program but The internet is worked

              when running kientik- end of day or simulated data feed is working but My NinjaTrader continuum not work

                Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.
                • You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support
                • Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

                  remove your ninja contiuum account; then re-add it with your credentials and connect. No restart needed.
