Looks something is wrong

I just open NT8, show a chart, it is future gold, time frame is 15m, time is right now. i checked Tick Replay option. Please look the attachment, there is a
terrible candle bar there, obviousely it is wrong. but compare to other software, i believe only this bar is wrong. If i do not check
Tick Replay option, then everything is fine.

How to sovle this problem?

BTW, if i check Tick Replay option and select different time frame such as 10m, 10s, it can work well.

Hello,

First I would try deleting the cached data on the machine. To delete the cache, follow the steps below.

• Shut down NinjaTrader.
• Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > db folder.
• Delete the sub-folder named 'cache'.
• Restart NinjaTrader and test.

Please let me know if this does not resolve the issue.

the problem is still there and only 15m time frame can not work well. right now it is saturday early morning.
i deleted the cache folder an it did not be created again.

5m, 10m can work well. how to solve this problem?

What data provider does this occur with?

Does reloading historical data via the right click menu not resolve the issue?

i guess that data provider is CQG
"reloading all historical data" does not work

one more problem, can not show Volume Profile indicator. this happens only when time frame is 15m

It's likely deleting the cache will correct the issue again, but it's uncertain what is making this occur in the first place. Does this happen on any other instruments?
If clearing the cache resolves the issue, I would run a 15 minute chart with no templates or indicators applied to see if the issue recurs on this chart setup.

if i do not enable "trick relpay", it works well, no matter there are indiactors or not. BTW Volume Profile indicator is shown

Hello,

If this is the only instrument this occurs on, real time tick filtering may solve the issue. To enable this, go to Tools>Options>Market data and enable 'filter bad ticks'. A value of 0.5% should prevent this if bad ticks are the culprit.
