Sin 101 - There is no market data available to drive the simulation

Keep getting this error.

Tried to delete the sim account.

Removed the sim account from the test I was doing.

When I right click on it the "remove account" op is greyed out

How do I stop this?

Stopped and restarted many times.

Thank you for the message.

If you are receiving the following message, it means you are not receiving real-time market data for the instrument you are trying to place an order to:

• 

To resolve this, you must connect to a Market Data connection that is providing real-time market data for the instrument you are trying to trade.


The "Kinetick - End of Day (Free)" connection does not provide real-time market data.

• This connection only provides, Daily bars and higher like Weekly and Monthly
• This connection will not provide the ability to place simulated trades

You would need to get a connection that provides the Real-time market data for the instruments that you are wanting to trade.

Finally, there is no way to remove the Sim101 account as it provides the ability to always place simulated trades.

• You could only reset the Sim101 account
• If you had additional Simulation accounts created within NinjaTrader, those could be deleted
