Futures Contract Dates

I think this is a platform question, so I'm going to try.

Concerning the Contract Dates for different futures instruments.. the ending dates are rather easy to look up and see what the Closure or Settlement date is from the exchange,.
for example MNQ 06-22 or MNQ 09-22, both are tradable contracts at the moment.

And as of the date of writing this post. those contracts have an expiration date of 17th June & 16th September. not exactly sure what was the first date those contracts were tradable on the NT8 Platform. what I can see from Historical Data is MNQ 09-22 started on Feb 13th . and MNQ 06-22 started on Jan 30th. (not sure those are correct dates, they are just what i can see with historical data.)


So to continue the example - MNQ 12-22. Is an active Contract, we can see the volume being traded on the CME exchange as of today, its small volume, but it is moving.
But MNQ 12-22 has no Data Available on NT8 Historical download screen, nor is it possible to call up the chart for MNQ 12-22 in NT8 in the Market Analyzer screen.

So my question is rather simple.
How or where do we see the starting date , a contract can be traded on NT8
i.e.
MNQ 12-22
MES 12-22
MYM 12-22
M2K 12-22
what is the first date Users can Trade these contracts on NT8?
Of course the rest of the contracts as well, currency, gold, oil, ect......

Hi Genesis, thanks for writing in. You can look up this info from Tools>Instruments>search the instrument and click on it>all the way at the bottom are the defined "Contract Months" and a date for when they roll over. The info is also available on the CME website.
