    Missing May 13th data

I noticed that Friday May 13th isn't showing up on my charts.

Closed the platform, deleted items in Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\cache\ folder, restarted NT. Still missing the data.

Just emailed log and trace files with the name of this post in the subject line.

    Any idea what to do?

Edit: the window trying to send log and trace files is stuck. Might update to the new version and try again.

Edit 2: Updated to 8.0.26.0 64-bit and the issue still persists. After updating the platform was able to successfully send log and trace files.

Edit 3: Data is coming from Rithmic

    Hello WalterSkinner,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

So that I may test on my end, what instrument are you referring to? If multiple, please tell me each specific instrument so that I can be sure I'm looking at the same thing as you.

I look forward to your response.

      Hi Zachary,

I'm looking at ES 06-22 only.

      Thanks for your help!

        Hello WalterSkinner,

Thank you for that additional information.

When I connect to my Rithmic test account, I am able to see 05/13/2022 on both Minute-based and Tick-based charts without issue. Let's try clearing out your historical data and pulling it fresh from the server. To do this, follow the steps below.
        • Shut down NinjaTrader.
        • Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > db folder.
        • Delete the sub-folder named 'cache'.
        • Enter the sub-folder named 'tick'.
        • Delete the sub-folder named 'ES 06-22'
        • Go back to Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > db
        • Enter the sub-folder named 'minute'
        • Delete the sub-folder named 'ES 06-22'
        • Restart NinjaTrader and test.
Does the issue persist after pulling brand new tick and minute data from the server?

          No, thank you!

I had done the first step but not the second two.

In the future I should be ok to just go into cache and then delete the three folders right?

            Hello WalterSkinner,

            Thank you for your reply.

If there is ever missing data in the future, I'd suggest contacting us first so that we can verify that the data is not missing from the server. I would only ever recommend deleting anything from the 'db' folder at our direction. All of the data within these folders is historical data that's been saved to your PC.
