    NT8 + TWS - Missing Data

    Hello,

I am currently using NT8 + TWS App for Data.

For some reason, i seem to have no data between 6am and 9am? (CME Time)

    All charts.
It was all working perfect for weeks.
I have deleted Doc/Db/Cache, min, ticks etc.
    Restarted NT8/TWS/Laptop/Data etc

I have a attached a photo which shows the NT8 and TWS charts side by side.

I am running the exact recommended versions of NT/TWS/JAVA

Anyone know what the issue may be?
    Thanks

    Another strange thing:

If i reload historical data, it will have full data up until 06:05am today.
Then start on the latest bar.

Even if i have had the chart open for 20 mins. It just doesnt have any data from 06:05 to Now.

      Hello gaz0001,

      Thank you for your message.

Let's first make sure that you are using the supported version of TWS for NinjaTrader 8 using the steps below in case you are using an unsupported one which may not be pulling the data in for NinjaTrader successfully.

To properly receive data and make trades through IB using NinjaTrader 8, you will need to use TWS version 981.3i or IB Gateway 981.3g, which may be downloaded directly from our IB Connection Guide linked below:

      Interactive Brokers Connection Guide

Once you have downloaded the updated version of TWS/IB Gateway required to work with IB in NinjaTrader, continue to follow along with that Connection Guide to ensure that everything is set up and enabled for the two programs to communicate and work correctly with one another.

After you have connected to this version, reload your charts or remove and re-download the data from the Historical Data window, and please let me know if this behavior persists.

        Hi,

I have the correct versions installed - they were installed already at the time of creating the post.

I have deleted everything from Historical and Replay data. Reset the PC and all software.

        Reloaded.

And seems the data is being pulled inconsistently. I have attached some screenshots.
Some charts seem to pull 3am to 6am, and some 3pm to 7pm.
This is consistent against all charts. There are no charts that pull correct data.

          Hi Justin,

I temporarily fixed the issue by creating a new workspace and basically starting again.

Now as, i cycle through different tickers etc, i am having the same issue again.

Can i check something else or send some logs in?

            So:

            Restart PC.
            Load everything up from fresh.

Load Ford ticker. A ticker that has NEVER been loaded in Ninja before now.

As you can see below, it loads directly with RANDOM data from yesterday, then a few hours from today, misses a few hours, then picks up in realtime.

So, i press reload historical data. (Which i never used to have to press ever)

It now fills in the blanks from yesterday, but todays data runs to 6am, then BLANK and the current live candle

            Press reload historical again.

Nothing changes, i still only have todays data 0300 to 0600, then live candle.

And the same nonsense is plaguing all tickers.

              Hello gaz0001,

              Thank you for your response.

Just to confirm, what is the current Trading Hours template you have chosen for this chart in the Data Series window? Does this behavior persist if you select the 'Default 24x7' template if it is not already chosen?

                Hi Justin,

I actually run a custom one which is basically Max Pre & Post Trading hours. Its as in the screenshots below, and it has worked just fine until now.
You will also notice, I have switched from TWS Application, to TWS Gateway. TWS APP & TWS Gateway display exact same issues.

And this one below is with the 24x7 selected.
It has the same fault characteristics.

                  @NinjaTrader_JustinD

                  This is peculiar Justin.

Your collegue, NinjaTrader_Jim was troubleshooting Ghost positions with me last week. He had me download the supported version of TWS & TWS GW. (https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...t8#post1202217)
This must be the the problem.
I have loaded the Regular TWS which does stable auto updates, and is version:

                  Build 981.3o, May 12, 2022 4:22:22 PM
                  Jolt Build 1.16.4, Jan 6, 2021 09:48:17 AM
                  Nia Build 2.21.10, Oct 20, 2020 05:48:45 PM
                  ModelNav Build 1.11.3, Oct 20, 2020 05:52:13 PM
                  Riskfeed Build 2.41.7, Nov 7, 2020 01:10:44 PM

All the charts are running perfect with this 'Stable' TWS build that is not the supported build from NT.

                    Hello gaz0001,

                    Thank you for your response.

Do you have a different timezone or 'trigger after hours' setting for 981.3i compared to 981.3o that could be affecting how it's pulling in data? Is this happening on all instruments as well, or only specific ones?
