    Hi I have a software glitch I would love your help



    I installed ninjatrader 8 a few weeks ago
    The software worked really fast

    That I clicked on the Startegy bulider and within a few seconds the window will pop up



    It's been a few weeks since I clicked on the window to create a strategy that takes almost 3 minutes to open

    At first I thought of a problem because of strategies I downloaded from the internet
    So I deleted them all

    The problem persisted


    So I said well we'll delete the software and reinstall
    But it did not work out


    Thinking to note that I have a very powerful computer
    And the software also worked great

    But now it's working really slowly

    I would be happy for your help and thanks in advance

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    We will need to figure out if this behavior persists when only native NinjaTrader components are loading. Do you experience this behavior when you operate the platform in Safe Mode?

    Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:
    • Loading workspaces.
    • Connecting on start-up.
    • Loading custom assemblies.
    • Getting instrument updates from the server.
    To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:
    • Exit NinjaTrader.
    • Hold the CONTROL key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
    • Keep the CONTROL key held down until you see the Control Center.
    • You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.
    Once you have opened the platform in safe mode:
    • Attempt to open the Strategy Builder
    Please let me know if you experience this delay when attempting to open the Strategy Builder in Safe Mode.

      Hi I checked in safe mode
      As requested

      And there is no change


      There is a way to delete the software including cache files \ and stored memory \ DATA \ system files \ and REG files \ and everything that belongs to the software

      And I'll just reinstall it


      Maybe what I did (add and remove from the computer) I did not remove everything so we will save information that eventually continues to hurt the speed of the software

        If the issue persists, a clean install would be the next step here. Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader.
        • Close all running applications.
        • Navigate to your Documents folder > Right-click on the 'NinjaTrader 8' folder > Rename > rename the folder to 'NinjaTrader 8 OLD'. DO NOT delete this folder.
        • Uninstall NinjaTrader within Windows Control Panel.
        • Navigate to C:\ > Program File (x86) > Delete the 'NinjaTrader 8' folder if it exists
        • Reboot your PC.
        • Once these steps are completed, download and install NT8 from the link below:
        Does the problem persist in a clean installation of the platform?

            Did you take into consideration changing the software you are using? I don't want to say it's bad since I haven't tried it. However, since it gives you so many problems, it might be more comfortable and easier for you to use a more stable one. For example, I have used this one: zaptest.com for over two years, and I never had any problem. Moreover, even if some details were unclear or I didn't know where to find a certain type of information, I always use their online chat available on their website, and everything is solved in some minutes.
