    OCO ID Error

    Hello,
Im trying to trade with a very simple strategy but when i place a market buy or market sell order i get filled at loss and get an OCO ID error. This happens randomly after a few trades and goes away randomly. The market orders seems to be only filling at a specific price and put me in at a loss right away. I can assure that the green OCO button is off. This is not rendering delay or fast paced market conditions. When i place limit orders it seems to fill fine. The market buy/sell and close button on the dom is giving me the OCO error. I have included videos and pictures of my issue. I have contacted ninjatrader support but have got no where with the issue. Even after a full reinstall of ninjatrader. Please watch the videos so you can get the full picture of what’s going on with the entry positions and errors.

copy paste link in new tab to view the videos.

    Hello j1719,

Thank you very much for your post.

Could you please let me know the ticket number in question? I would like to take a closer look at how these orders were submitted and what caused this error.

    Thank you in advance!

        Hello j1719,

Thank you very much for your reply!

Looking through what my colleagues have attempted so far, and the description of the issue itself, I have a suspicion that your PC's clock might have gone out of synch. This can cause a variety of issues and could explain irregular fills.

To test this, please visit the following, publicly available website:

7 million locations, 57 languages, synchronized with atomic clock time.

This website will independently show the correct, and your local PC's time, and inform you if they are offset. If this differs more than a second or two, I would suggest synchronizing your PC's clock.

The easiest way to do this is by right-clicking the current time in your taskbar, selecting "Date & time", and clicking on "Sync Now".

Could you let me know if you've noticed a discrepancy?

I look forward to your reply!

j1719 I find Dimension 4 to be an excellent approach to maintaining system time very close to real time. Set and forget. Free and very effective.

          Thanks.
