v8.0.26.1 and "Not Responding" workspace windows

    v8.0.26.1 and "Not Responding" workspace windows

    After installing v8.0.26.1 on two computers with different NT workspaces, I am seeing workspace windows on both computers occasionally going into a "Not Responding" state, and that did not happen with v8.0.26 and the same NT workspaces. The "Not Responding" state of the affected NT workspace window(s) did recover in a couple instances after 15 - 30 minutes, but did not recover in other instances, and then Task Manager has to terminate the entire NT process. For the latest "Not Responding" event, the trigger was making changes to a chart, then to save the workspace changes, clicking on the Control Center Workspace tab without first clicking on the Control Center window body to first move focus to Control Center. That action resulted in the Control Center window "Not Responding" state. All other workspace windows were unaffected. Anyone else seeing this behavior with v8.0.26.1?

    Done with 8.0.26.1 and the random Not Responding windows, so back to 8.0.26. For a roll back to a prior version, is it best practice to uninstall 8.0.26.1 + reboot prior to re-installation of 8.0.26, or can 8.0.26 be installed over 8.0.26.1 as typical with version updates?

      Had the same thing with 8.0.26.0. Also had reoccurance of other issues that I thought were in the past. Rolling back to 8.0.25

        Hello Lancer,

        Can you please uninstall NinjaTrader and then reinstall the prior version.

        You can experience slow and unresponsive behavior if you have many workspaces, charts, indicators and other windows opened depending on market volatility as well. If market volatility increases, the same setup will need more PC resources.

          Reinstalled 8.0.26, and no more "Not Responding" workspace windows. The issue encountered with v26.1 is not due to many windows opened, market volatility, or PC resources.
